World of Dance Czechia

The main and most valuable category of WOD Battles is the category All Styles 1x1 . This battle is not only for money, experience and respect - it is a battle for the judging chair and the opportunity to get into the Hall of Fame World of Dance Battles! The winner of WOD Battles All Styles 1x1 will become judge-champion, and take place in the judge panel for WOD Battles Czechia 2024, and of course protect his title and seat next year!
How it’s going to look like?

1. WOD Team will accept only 100 applications - those dancers will be allowed to participate in Preselections on 18th of November in BFresh Brno (check the schedule) *Attention! Participants who did not pay their entry fee before 12 November 2023 - will be deleted out of the list .
2. TOP8 Dancers will battle next day during World of Dance Battles Finals for money prize and place of WOD Battles Czechia judge-champion

Introducing the Dogga Concept, a unique Crew VS Crew battle format explained here:
The battle itself works normally as an All Styles crew vs crew battle. After each crew finish their entries, two situations can occur: The first situation - the judges have made a clear decision, i.e. a clear win for one of the parties or a clear draw.
The second situation, the judges have made an ambiguous decision, i.e. one of the parties has received one whole vote (1/3 votes or 2 crosses).

In this case, the side that would normally lose can use a so-called joker to reverse the outcome of the battle. The Joker will allow the crew to select an individual who will be eligible for an extra entry in the form of a 1vs1 with an individual from the other crew. After the bonus entry, the jury decides whether to keep the original decision or reverse the outcome of the battle in favour of the originally losing crew. This decision is FINAL and cannot be reversed. However, if the originally defeated crew subsequently wins, they will advance to the next round WITHOUT the dancer who danced the bonus entry…

During the Final situation can turn any side… You have to be ready for that!!!
